Online requests to change your personal data in ZEuS

Which online requests are available in ZEuS and which data can be changed through them?

Starting June 15th, 2026, you can request changes to your personal data via one of the following four online requests in ZEuS:

  1. Change of nationality
  2. New surname, birth name, additional name
  3. New first name and/or new gender designation
  4. Change department to be eligible to vote

Where can the online requests be found in ZEuS?

The online requests can be found under one of the two following menus in ZEuS:

  • Option 1: My Studies >> Student Service >> Change personal data (you may need to expand your personal data using the arrow to see the relevant button, see screenshot below)
  • Option 2: User Functions >> Service >> Requests >> Changes to personal data

Here you can find all your begun and submitted requests. By clicking the status box of each request, you can view all details of the selected request. Requests that are filled either incompletely, incorrectly or with false data, will either be rejected, or be send back to you for revision.

If a request is sent back to you for revision, please note that there is a final submission date before which you need to resubmit your request. The final submission date for each request can be found in the request overview as well as in the details to each request.


Requests can have one of the following status:
Request status Explanation
Revise request The request is either incomplete, the stated data is incorrect, and/or verification documents are missing. Please choose "Revise request" to see the reason(s) your request has been sent back to you, and make sure to resubmit your request before the final submisson date. If you do not resubmit your request (in time), it will be rejected.
Request in preparation The request has been begun by you, but not submitted yet. Until you submit your request, it will neither get processed, nor is it visible to case handlers.

How do I put in a new request via ZEuS?

Go to the overview of your online requests in ZEuS as described here and select "Create new request".
