It is now possible to register the courses offered by Continued education programme in ZEuS. Below, you will find the guidelines to such registration. Be advised that courses offered by the Continued education programme are generally offered in German language.
General information upfront
Registration for continued education courses can only be done in the role Mitarbeiter*in (Staff). If you use more than one role, please choose the correct role first. Alternatively, you could set the role Mitarbeiter*in as your default role. In such a case, this role will be automatically assigned at every login into the system.
To receive all updates in respect to registered courses, we recommend activating email notifications in ZEuS (active LINK will follow shortly).

Course offers of continued education in ZEuS
Via course search
Navigate to Courses > Search for courses. Choose in the dropdown menu the target semester and under "Course type" select "Training"; then click on the button "Search". By using the field "Key words", you can further specify the search criteria.
As the result, you will see all the courses that correspont to your search criteria. Courses which have this
symbol are currently open for registration; just click the icon and follow the instructions.
Via course catalogue
Navigate to Courses > Show university course catalogue and adjust, if necessary, the semester in the dropdown menu. Under the heading "Internes Fortbildungsangebot für Mitarbeitende" you will find all offered courses in the chosen semester. Given that most courses are offered in German, the information about the courses might only be available in German language.
Further information about the chosen course
After choosing a course as described above, you might wish to learn more about the chosen course. To do that click either on
symbol left or right to the course or click directly on the title of the course.
Here you will find several tabs to choose from. Behind the first and opened by default tab "Events", you will find, among other information, the registration deadline. A registration for the course in ZEuS is only possible when the registration period is still open.
Please be advised, that on the screenshot below the deadline underscored in red is ADDITIONALLY RESTRICTED by the start of a course. Most courses can be registered for up to 7 days, and in some cases 28 days, before the first appointment of a course. Please check in the comment section whether a specific date has been noted by course supervisors. Alternatively, the deadline could be easily calculated - simply subtract 7 or 28 days from the first appointment.
Further down in the detail view of a course, you will find information about planned appointments with all the relevant information, such as date, time, room, comments to single appointments, the lecturer, etc. Additionally, you can see the amount of available slots, as well as how many participants must register to guarantee that the course will take place. In some cases, the target group for the course will also be listed here.
Further relevant information and remarks, for example, about registration process, you will find either as a comment or under the tab "Contents".
Registering for a course in ZEuS
After deciding which course you wish to attend, go to the desired course while the registration period is still running. Information about the registration deadline, you will find in the detail view of every course. (For further information, see explanations and screenshots above.)
If the basic requirements for registration are fulfilled, the
button becomes visible. If you don't see this button, then as a rule, either a registration period has endeed or you are using the wrong role - please try switching to the role Mitarbeiter*in (Staff).
If the button appears, please click on the
button to start the registration process.
Registration process
- In the first step, you will be provided with relevant information, which you should read carefully, and then confirm that you have read it and agree with the conditions.
- During the next step, you will see the appointments between which you may choose. If there are several appointment, you may only choose one from the list.
- By clicking on
, you will then be registered for the chosen course.
If the registration was successfull, you will see a green notification informing you about registration, and you will see status "admitted". By clicking "Back to overview", you will be returned to the detail view of the chosen course.
View registered courses
My registrations
As soon as you have registered for one or more courses, you can view them under My Studies > My Registrations for any given semester. Additionally, you can check the status of your registration here, call up the course information, and de-register from any given course, within the registration deadline, of course.

Please be advised that the status "registered" or "Waiting list" does not mean, that you have a spot in a course! Only if your status is set to "admitted", then you may attend the course. |
Class schedule
Under My Studies > Class schedule, you will find a calender, where you will see all the courses you have either added to your schedule or actively registered for. Use the available settings to adjust the time frame for the courses. Additionally, by using the function "More display options", you can further refine the overview.
